THERE ARE TWO STONES IN THE CAMEO® PAVER PATTERN They are the Cameo® Paver and the Filler Paver. The two stones are produced and sold in seperate colors allowing the Cameo® pattern to stand out for everyone to see. The Cameo® Pavers are produced exclusively by Salina Concrete Products. Salina's Cameo® pavers are of the highest quality available. The color and concrete mix are consistent throughout each Cameo® Paver. With the near eternal life of the Salina Cameo® Pavers and the multiple colors avilable, any Cameo® Paver project will retain its unique beauty for many generations to enjoy.

THE SUPERIORITY OF PAVERS Pavers are superior to ready mix concrete surfaces because of the paver's ability to stand-up to weather that attacks and destroys ready mix surfaces. Pavers are manufactured in a plant evironment where the mix of cement, rock, sand and frequently pigment are kept consistent throughout the paver. The surface of the paver is the same mixture as the middle or bottom of the paver. Ready mix concrete, smooth or patterned, is "worked" to get a smooth or patterned surface. The working of ready mix concrete results in a finished concrete surface that is a different mixture from the ready mix concrete mixture below the thin surface. Frequently, the thin surface mixture will pop or peal off in only a year or two after the ready mixed concrete is installed. This surface problem and other problems including pop outs, cracks and discolorization that are common to ready mix concrete do not occur with pavers. The premium cost of Cameo® Pavers is returned in the longer than life of the pavers plus there are additional benefits of beauty, pattern and color throughout the Cameo® Pavers manufactured by Salina Concrete Products, Inc.
